A Care Plan is an ongoing service that keeps your website hosted, secure, and backed up after launch, with content update requests included at the higher tiers.
A website is not finished the day it launches. It needs updates, monitoring, fixes, small content edits, and the occasional checkup. A Care Plan means all of that is someone else's job.

Related edits sent together count as one request, and each request is sized on its scope, so a large project is quoted on its own rather than split into small requests. Unused requests do not roll over to the next month.
On every tier, major redesigns, new functionality, and complex integrations are quoted separately. And your plan only starts billing when your website launches, not while it is being built.

Is a Care Plan required?
If we host your website, yes: every site we host runs on at least the Basic plan, because that is what keeps it hosted, secure, and backed up. If you would rather host it yourself, you can. You own your website either way; while we host it we keep a copy of your source files and release them to you for free whenever you move to self-hosting, so a Care Plan is a hosting choice, not a condition of owning your site. Most owners stay with us so someone is watching the site and small updates get handled without a separate invoice each time.
How does billing work?
Billing begins when your website launches, not while it is being built. From there, Care Plans are billed monthly, renew until you cancel, and run month-to-month; to cancel, email support@builtfastco.com and our team cancels the plan for you and confirms it in writing. The one exception: when a Care Plan qualifies for a discounted website build, that plan carries a 12-month minimum term. Cancel before that term is complete and the site stays live to the end of your paid period, then goes offline (we never delete it); to self-host, finish the term or pay out the unearned discount, pro-rated by the months left. After the term it converts to month-to-month. And if you ever miss a payment, your site stays up for a 30-day grace period while you catch up.

Yes. Email support@builtfastco.com and we will cancel your plan for you. Care Plans are billed monthly, renew until you cancel, and run month-to-month. Standard or Premium. Basic does not qualify: it hosts the site but does not change the build price. A qualifying Care Plan earns a discounted build price on every website scope. A Growth Build, for example, is $4,500 instead of $7,500. No discount is available month-to-month: discounted pricing requires a 12-month minimum on the qualifying Care Plan, which then converts to month-to-month. Cancel before that term is complete and the site stays live to the end of your paid period, then goes offline (we never delete it); to self-host, finish the term or pay out the unearned discount, pro-rated by the months left. Your site stays up for a 30-day grace period while you catch up. If the payment is still unresolved after 30 days, hosting is paused until it is sorted out. Your website is never deleted.
