A Care Plan is an ongoing service that keeps your website hosted, secure, and backed up after launch, with content update requests included at the higher tiers.
A website is not finished the day it launches. It needs updates, monitoring, fixes, small content edits, and the occasional checkup. A Care Plan means all of that is someone else's job.

Related edits sent together count as one request, and each request is sized on its scope, so a large project is quoted on its own rather than split into small requests. Unused requests do not roll over to the next month.
On every tier, major redesigns, new functionality, and complex integrations are quoted separately. And your plan only starts billing when your website launches, not while it is being built.

Is a Care Plan required?
If we host your website, yes: every site we host runs on at least the Basic plan, because that is what keeps it hosted, secure, and backed up. If you would rather host it yourself, you can. The website is yours to keep either way, and a Care Plan becomes optional. Most owners stay with us so someone is watching the site and small updates get handled without a separate invoice each time.
How does billing work?
Billing begins when your website launches, not while it is being built. From there, Care Plans are billed monthly, renew until you cancel, and run month-to-month; you can cancel yourself anytime from your customer portal. The one exception: when a Care Plan qualifies for a discounted website build, that plan carries a 12-month minimum term, then converts to month-to-month. And if you ever miss a payment, your site stays up for a 30-day grace period while you catch up.

A Business Website build, for example, is $4,500 instead of $7,500. No discount is available month-to-month: discounted pricing requires a 12-month minimum on the qualifying Care Plan, which then converts to month-to-month. Your site stays up for a 30-day grace period while you catch up. If the payment is still unresolved after 30 days, hosting is paused until it is sorted out. Your website is never deleted.
